Louise - hand block printed pillow cover (red)

Our "Louise" pillow cover features beautiful tulip buds on a crisp white background. The flowers have been block printed on the fabric.                                         

PROCESS
The front of the pillow cover has running stitches that run parallel to each other. This is called "kantha" stitching and is entirely done by hand by women. This combination of block print and kantha stitching makes this pillow cover truly unique.    

The block print on the linen is entirely done by hand, by master artisans. This is a four-hundred-year-old art form that has been passed down generations and takes an incredible amount of precision and practice to get right. The blocks are carved by artisans, the colors are mixed by a master color artist, and it is then printed on by a block printer. The linen is then air dried and then stitched into pillow covers.
No two pieces are the same and it's the little imperfections of this handmade piece that make it unique and appealing.

The front and back are made of 100% cotton. 

The pillow cover has an INVISIBLE ZIPPER. We offer FREE SHIPPING.

SIZING
- To ensure a snug fit, we recommend using a pillow insert 1"-2" bigger than the size of the pillow cover.
- The pillow insert is not included

Please note that color may appear slightly different in person compared to what you see in the listing photos. This is because of varying monitor color settings.

CARE
- Hand wash in cold water
- Avoid using bleach
- Iron on a low heat setting on the reverse side
